Summary
Location: Chicago, IL; Tacoma, WA; Plant City, FL; Cleburne, TX; or Pulaski, VA strongly preferred
Travel: 50% to our manufacturing locations (2 weeks per month on average)
As the Director of Maintenance Reliability, you will lead the strategic transformation of maintenance and reliability practices across our manufacturing network. You will be responsible for embedding a culture of operational excellence, safety, and long-term asset stewardship. This role will drive the adoption of predictive and preventive maintenance strategies, standardize best practices, and ensure alignment with enterprise goals such as HMOS. You will also play a key role in capital project planning, talent development, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead network-wide Maintenance Strategy: Implement RCM and TPM to boost asset reliability and cost efficiency through tailored maintenance plans.
  • Drive Long-Term Planning: Oversee multi-year outage planning, manage major repair budgets, and standardize maintenance practices across all facilities.
  • Use Data to Improve Performance: Leverage analytics and supplier input to increase MTBF and ensure consistent reliability execution across sites.
  • Support Capital Projects: Approve equipment specs, embed reliability tools in new assets, and lead training for smooth system integration.
  • Champion Improvement & Leadership: Promote a service-oriented maintenance culture, enhance OEE, and mentor diverse teams aligned with safety and lean (HMOS) standards.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required
  • 10 or more years of experience in maintenance reliability required
  • 5+ years of leadership experience required
  • Multi-site maintenance and reliability strategy execution
  • Experience in engineering and manufacturing of highly engineered products in an industrial sector
  • Experience implementing Reliability Centered Maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance
  • Experience in leading maintenance reliability teams
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing preferred

What You'll Receive:
As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is $180,000 to $200,000. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience, skills, geography and internal equity and may change over time. This position qualifies for benefits and you will be eligible to participate in a bonus plan.
