Job description

Summary:

The Reliability Excellence Coach integrates our maintenance operating system on site at client facilities, working handson with plant leadership and frontline teams to drive measurable behavioral change. This role leads assessments, coaching, change management, and adoption tracking during 8-12 week deployments and contributes to the continuous improvement of our operating system and tools.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

Embeds at client facilities to drive adoption of the maintenance operating system across all levels of the organization.

Coaches on-site maintenance leadership on process adherence, metrics review cadences, and team behaviors.

Conducts structured walkthroughs and gap assessments against the operating system standard.

Facilitates daily/weekly management routines (tier meetings, KPI reviews, PM compliance huddles).

Identifies and escalates adoption barriers to ATS leadership, including behavioral, organizational, or technical.

Tracks leading and lagging reliability indicators across assigned sites (PM compliance, wrench time, MTTR, backlog aging, etc.).

Prepares and delivers site progress reports for client.

Maintains accurate deployment logs, coaching records, and milestone documentation.

Contributes to the refinement of internal playbooks, onboarding materials, and training content.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Competencies:

Essential KSAs:

Bachelor's degree and 4 years of manufacturing operations experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Direct experience in a supervisory, or lead role.

Exposure to maintenance or reliability functions (PM programs, CMMS, RCA, work order management).

Experience operating within a structured maintenance environment.

Ability to travel 40-60% of the time.

Desirable KSAs:

Previous experience implementing maintenance programs.

TPM, RCM or Lean maintenance experience.

Thorough understanding of the industrial maintenance environment.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands/fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb, ascend/descend or balance to heights that may require a ladder or lift; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in confined spaces; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to use close vision and color vision. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. Work is typically performed in a factory environment and is usually very loud. In the factory environment, the employee may be exposed to hazardous materials and/or greasy or slippery factory floors.
