Job description

We're seeking a Regional Reliability Engineering Manager to help drive reliability excellence across lumber manufacturing operations in the Mid-South and Atlantic regions. In this highly visible role, you'll partner with mill leaders, reliability teams, and regional leadership to improve equipment reliability, eliminate losses, optimize manufacturing processes, and build long-term operational capability.
This position offers the opportunity to influence multiple manufacturing facilities, lead high-impact improvement initiatives, and help shape the future of reliability strategies across the region. Success in this role will directly improve manufacturing reliability, increase production capacity, reduce downtime, strengthen technical capability, and help shape the future of reliability across our lumber operations.
Location: This is a remote, home-based position supporting lumber manufacturing operations across the Mid-South and Atlantic regions. Candidates must reside within approximately three hours of one of our operating facilities in Plymouth, NC; Greenville, NC; Dodson, LA; Idabel, OK; or Dierks, AR, or live near a major airport within the region to support regular travel to our manufacturing sites. Other locations that may be considerd Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Virgina, West Virgina as long as your are near a major airport
Travel: Up to 70%
What You'll Do
  • Identify and solve critical reliability and process challenges.
  • Lead root cause investigations and improvement initiatives.
  • Coach Reliability Managers and maintenance teams.
  • Drive predictive and precision maintenance practices.
  • Support regional reliability strategies and capital improvement efforts.
  • Build technical capability through mentoring and training.

Qualifications
What You'll Bring
  • 6+ years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, reliability, engineering, operations, or industrial technology.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or equivalent technical experience.
Strong understanding of:
  • Reliability and maintenance strategies
  • Process engineering and constraint management
  • Root cause analysis (RCA)
  • Preventive and predictive maintenance
  • Continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience using SAP/CMMS systems, reliability data, and production metrics to drive decisions.
Preferred
  • Professional certifications such as PE, CMRP, CRE, CRL, Six Sigma, MLT/MLA, vibration analysis, infrared, ultrasound, or RCA facilitation.
  • Experience leading reliability improvement initiatives across multiple manufacturing locations.

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $108,500-$162,700 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 15% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
