Job description

Do you have a knack for technology? Are you at your best when supporting others? We're looking for a DNS Operations Engineer as a member of our Network Site Reliability Engineer Team.
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (DNS) to join our team and help us to:
  • Support Global DNS Operations Team by delivering a variety of network projects of our On-Premise and Cloud hosted Domain Name System.
  • Taking ownership across full project lifecycle: initial business engagement, design, planning, implementation, and handover.
  • Uphold high standards for timely issue resolution; contribute expertise to the management of existing and new IT products and services.
  • Define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements and work with your peers to constantly improve the configuration of the DDI system; identify and manage business risks and issues.
  • Conducting impact assessments and identifying potential areas of conflict across work streams, business units and projects manage the DNS and DHCP Database and join the on-call rotation for one week (ca. 6 times in a year).
Your team You will be joining the global network team in Nashville as Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) and provide end-to-end support for the DNS System. The role requires you to be well self-organized in delivering projects and show initiative in creating new processes.
Your expertise:
  • Solid Infoblox experience is required.
  • Ideally 5+ years of experience in DNS, DHCP and IP Address Management (DDI).
  • Certified for the Network solutions of the vendor Infoblox and you can work self-organized and under pressure.
  • Technical experience in DDI: deep knowledge on DNS and DHCP, Infoblox certified, working knowledge on network automation via Python and UNIX operation systems.
  • Track record of influencing IT business partners and have proven ability to solve complex issues, covering both technical and business.
  • Great analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (i.e. you know how to create detailed designs and implement them).
  • Ability to reverse engineer applications and network solutions and flexible working approach to project demands.
  • Strong technical skillset with excellent written and verbal communication skills and leadership qualities.
  • You are accountable for your work, and you are working self-organized on projects.
