Their primary role is to locate, secure, and recover property from individuals who have defaulted on loans or leases. This process involves skilled agents who adhere to legal and ethical standards while performing recoveries, often using advanced tracking and investigative techniques. The role often requires strong communication skills to de-escalate tense interactions and meticulous attention to documentation to avoid legal issues. Teamwork and coordination with dispatchers, lenders, and sometimes law enforcement are also key aspects of the daily workflow.
