    Job description

We are hiring for this position in Atlanta, GA, and Dallas, TX

    About the Opportunity

This is not an account management role. This is not inbound sales.

This is a true hunter role built for high-performance individuals who thrive on outbound activity, building relationships from scratch, and winning new business.

If you are driven by targets, competition, and measurable success, this role gives you a clear path to win—and get paid for it.

If you enjoy working with business owners, leaders, and founders, this is the role for you.

HR Partners has been in business since 1998 and is expanding its team with a full-time Business Development professional in Atlanta.

Why This Role Wins in the Market

    • Established, credible brand (since 1998) → easier broker trust and access
    • Defined target market (10–200 employee companies) → focused selling
    • Existing lead flow + marketing support → not starting from zero
    • Strong, competitive offering (HR/PEO/payroll)
    • Clear activity → pipeline → revenue formula (no ambiguity)

    What You’ll Be Responsible For

    • Build an Elite Broker Alliance (target: 80 partners/year)
    • Generate 1,500+ new worksite employees (WSE)
    • Create a consistent pipeline of broker → CEO referrals

What the Job Actually Looks Like (Daily)

    This is a high-activity, production-driven role:

    • 60+ outbound broker calls per day
    • 20+ CEO touches (calls, emails, LinkedIn)
    • 100+ total outbound touches daily
    • All activity tracked in HubSpot (non-negotiable)
    • Attend networking events, trade shows, and in-person drop-ins

This role is structured, measurable, and accountability-driven.

    Key Responsibilities

    Broker Development (Primary Focus)

    • Prospect and engage insurance brokers
    • Introduce and position the Elite Broker Alliance
    • Build a repeatable referral engine (not one-off deals)
    • Position HR Partners as a trusted partner—not a competitor
    • Educate brokers on increasing client retention and revenue
    • Consistently book and lead broker meetings

    Business Development (CEO Outreach)

    • Prospect business owners (10–200 employees)
    • Generate and qualify new opportunities
    • Run discovery calls and advance deals

    Pipeline & Deal Management

    • Build and manage a high-volume pipeline
    • Execute disciplined follow-up
    • Move opportunities toward close
    • Track all activity in HubSpot

    CRM Ownership (HubSpot)

    • Log all calls, emails, and deal stages
    • Use sequences, tasks, and automation
    • Maintain a clean, accurate pipeline

    What You Bring

    Must-Have Traits

    • High energy and strong work ethic
    • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and rejection
    • Discipline and consistency
    • Competitive, results-driven mindset
    • Ability to work in-office during first 90 days

    Experience

    • 2+ years in sales, recruiting, or business development
    • High-volume outbound experience preferred
    • CRM experience (HubSpot a plus)

    Highly Preferred Background

    • Experience selling into or through:
    • Insurance brokers
    • PEO / HR / payroll / benefits
    • B2B professional services
    • Proven success in a true hunter / net-new business role
    • Experience building pipeline from scratch

    Skills

    • Strong communication and persuasion
    • Ability to build rapport quickly
    • Effective follow-up and pipeline management

    What Success Looks Like

    30 Days

    • Pipeline started
    • Broker meetings booked
    • Activity targets consistently hit

    60 Days

    • Broker relationships forming
    • Active opportunities in pipeline
    • Proposals in progress

    90 Days

    • 3–5 deals closed
    • 5–10 active broker partners
    • Consistent referral flow

This Role Is NOT For You If:

    • You prefer inbound leads or account management
    • You struggle with high call volume
    • You dislike structured systems and tracking
    • You want flexibility without accountability

    Compensation & Growth

    • Competitive base salary + uncapped commission
    • Performance incentives tied to:
    • Meetings booked
    • Broker partnerships created
    • Opportunities generated
    • Deals closed

This is a six-figure opportunity for consistent producers.

    Why HR Partners?

    • Clear expectations—no guessing what success looks like
    • Proven system for generating pipeline
    • High-growth environment
    • Direct impact on company revenue
    • Established, reputable company
    • Innovative technology

    Bottom Line

    This is a numbers-driven, results-focused hunter role.

If you can execute the activity, build relationships, and close business—you will win here.

If not, it will become obvious quickly.

Apply If You’re Ready to Compete and Win

If you’ve consistently outperformed your peers and want a role where effort directly drives income, we want to talk.

Serious candidates only. This role is built for producers.

HR Partners is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We are an equal opportunity employer and will make reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals.
