Job description

We are a foundational Layer 1 blockchain project engineered to solve the global scalability trilemma. As we move from technical breakthrough to mainstream adoption, we need a Public Relations Manager to own our narrative. You will be the primary bridge between our core engineering milestones and the global media, ensuring that our vision for a scalable, decentralized future is communicated with clarity and impact.

Your Core Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain deep relationships with key journalists, editors, and influencers across both the Web3/crypto trade press and mainstream financial/tech outlets.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive PR campaigns for major network milestones, partnership announcements, and ecosystem growth initiatives.

  • Write high-stakes press releases, executive op-eds, and thought-leadership pieces that position our founders as leading voices in the blockchain scalability space.

  • Act as the first line of defense in managing the project's reputation, drafting rapid-response messaging for technical upgrades or market-wide events.

  • Secure high-profile speaking engagements and media opportunities at major global industry events (e.g., Token2049, EthCC, Consensus).

Who You Are
  • You have a "black book" of established media contacts and know exactly who to call to place a story that moves the needle.

  • You can distill complex Layer 1 technical specifications into compelling stories that resonate with both retail investors and institutional builders.

  • You thrive in the 24/7 crypto news cycle and can pivot quickly to capitalize on breaking industry trends.

  • Your prose is sharp, professional, and requires minimal editing, whether you're drafting a formal announcement or a quick media pitch.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Public Relations (PR) or Communications.

  • A proven, established network of media contacts within the tech and cryptocurrency sectors.

  • Extensive experience drafting press releases and managing media inquiries for high-growth tech or blockchain projects.

  • Deep understanding of the Layer 1 landscape, scalability solutions, and broader Web3 market dynamics.

  • Ability to work effectively with remote, global teams across various time zones.
