Location: Rochester, NY
Start Date: TBD
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks (91 days)
Shift: 3×12 Nights
Pay: $2,003.40/week + $2,450 completion bonus per contract (up to $7,350 after three contracts)
Position Overview
ATC Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Rehabilitation unit in Rochester, NY. This travel position offers competitive pay, completion bonuses, and comprehensive benefits. The RN will provide specialized care to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, supporting their rehabilitation and long-term wellness goals.
Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, assessments, and interventions within the rehabilitation unit.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care strategies as needed.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery expectations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York or compact state eligibility.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience (rehab experience preferred).
  • Open to first-time travelers.
  • Must be willing to float to Medical-Surgical units as needed.
  • Must live more than 75 miles from the facility (locals not accepted).

  • Shift: 3×12 Nights
  • Weekend coverage required: Every other weekend
