Assistant Director of Rehabilitation (Assistant Director of Rehab)

We are seeking a motivated and team-oriented Assistant Director of Rehabilitation to support the daily operations of physical, occupational, and speech therapy services. The Assistant Director will help oversee therapy staff, maintain efficient workflow, and ensure high-quality, patient-focused rehabilitation care in collaboration with the Director of Rehab.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with managing daily rehabilitation department operations and staff scheduling.
  • Support therapy teams by providing guidance, troubleshooting workflow issues, and promoting clinical excellence.
  • Monitor caseloads, productivity, and treatment quality to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and administrative teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Assist with staff training, onboarding, and performance feedback.
  • Maintain accurate documentation oversight and support compliance with care standards and regulations.
  • Help implement departmental policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology.
  • Clinical experience in rehabilitation; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and support a positive work environment.
