Overview:
A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory programs across a diverse product portfolio. This individual will lead compliance initiatives related to domestic and international regulations, sustainability, environmental reporting, and product compliance while partnering with cross-functional teams to support new product development and business growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a regulatory professional who enjoys building scalable processes, driving continuous improvement, and navigating evolving regulatory requirements.

Job Duties:

  • Lead regulatory compliance efforts across multiple product lines, ensuring adherence to domestic and international regulations.
  • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and provide guidance on business impacts and compliance strategies.
  • Develop, implement, and improve compliance programs, processes, and documentation to support organizational growth.
  • Manage environmental and packaging compliance programs, including reporting requirements and sustainability initiatives.
  • Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Product Development, and Marketing teams to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support new product introductions by identifying regulatory requirements and ensuring appropriate documentation is completed.
  • Collaborate with external consultants and industry organizations on regulatory and compliance-related initiatives.
  • Lead compliance projects focused on risk reduction, operational improvements, and regulatory readiness.
  • Maintain compliance databases, reporting systems, and supporting documentation.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Travel up to 15% as business needs require.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Environmental Sciences, or a related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, regulatory affairs, quality, engineering, or a related function within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international regulatory frameworks, environmental compliance, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Experience managing packaging, environmental, or product compliance programs.
  • Ability to interpret regulations and translate technical requirements into practical business solutions.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams to drive compliance initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience within consumer products, food manufacturing, packaging, industrial products, or similar regulated industries is preferred.
