Shift Notes:ย This is an exempt position with a 40-hour guarantee. No overtime or multipliers apply. Local candidates preferred.

Job Description
Seeking a skilledย Patient Registration Managerย to lead and manage the operations of the Patient Registration Department. This leadership role involves planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating all department activities to ensure efficient and compliant registration processes.
ย 
Responsibilities include:
  • Oversee daily operations of the Patient Registration Department and Shared Services related to patient registration.
  • Implement Total Quality Management (TQM) initiatives to drive operational improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with Human Resources policies and organizational programs.
  • Manage budgetary resources effectively and within financial parameters.
  • Develop and implement both operational and strategic plans to meet department goals.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient registration data and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Information Systems to integrate technology that enhances registration processes.
  • Represent Revenue Cycle Services in cross-departmental initiatives for process improvements and regulatory compliance.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on patient registration issues for affiliated business units.
  • Organize, schedule, and manage staffing to maximize productivity and team effectiveness.
  • Directly manage 3 Supervisors (each overseeing 15 union team members) and 4 Patient Financial Advocates (non-union).

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Business Administration or related field (Preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing teams in hospital registration or related functions (Required)
  • Knowledge of medical insurance plans as they relate to medical billing (Required)
  • Demonstrated skills in Total Quality Management, leadership, communication, and organizational management (Required)
  • Previous experience working with unionized staff (Preferred)
  • Experience with Epic EMR system (Preferred)
