Job description

Radiology - Interventional Radiology

This position includes daytime shifts from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM, covering 5 eight-hour shifts per week. Weekends are on call only.

Join our small community hospital, where we treat fewer than 20 patients daily, providing a blend of inpatient and outpatient care. Our team typically consists of 2-3 technicians and 3-4 Registered Nurses (RNs) per shift.

Perform various procedures including thoracentesis, paracentesis, line placements, lumbar punctures, biopsies, drain placements, and dialysis work.

Caring for patients undergoing procedures such as GI bleeds, UAEs, port placements, G-tube placements/replacements, and nephrostomy tube placements/replacements.

Ensure a nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1, offering personalized patient care.

Utilize Epic to look up patient information and prepare for procedures.

Assist in setting up tables and scrubbing in with physicians as needed.

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.

Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Familiarity with Siemens Artis Zee and GE Ultrasounds is preferred.
