Job description

REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT (Starting at $28-$35)

If you think you have the talent to be a valuable team player-we’d love to meet you! We are an incredible private practice that is growing and growing quickly! We are in need of a RDA that can work in a fast paced office, perform exceptional dentistry and will add value to our patients.

CURRENT RDA is required for this assistant position as well as DANB radiology license for NJ, along with being able to work independently. We want the best for our patients. We are a referral based practice with PPO insurance accepted. We do great dentistry and our patients reward us with their referrals of friends, family, and coworkers.

We are currently looking for a RDA to start 5 days a week - Mondays 8-5, Tuesdays 8-5, Wednesdays 9:30-7, Thursdays 8-5, Fridays 8-2. NO WEEKENDS!!!!

WE NEED A RDA WHO CAN:

PLACE RETRACTION CORD

MAKE TEMPORARY CROWNS

ADJUST TEMP CROWNS AND DENTURES

REMOVE SUTURES

USE OF INTRAORAL SCANNING/ITERO - NOT REQUIRED BUT A PLUS

Other Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet patients with a smile
  • Support dentists and hygienists in charting and treatment planning
  • Chairside assisting during dental and surgical procedures
  • Taking radiographs and intraoral photos
  • Maintain operatory stocking and cleanliness
  • Provide a high standard of sterilization infection control
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Strong communication skills
  • N.J. X-ray license required
  • CPR certification required
  • CDA/RDA certification strongly preferred
  • Open Dental experience preferred, but not required
