Job description

Title: Regional Sales Manager
The Regional Sales Manager shall be responsible for performing Application Engineering and Sales promotion of Hilliard products. The duties shall include but not be limited to the following:
  1. Review applications and make proper recommendations from inquiries.
  2. Interface with Design and Product Engineering on product specification and technical customer requirements.
  3. Interface with customer service to ensure accounts and inquiries are covered.
  4. Provide quotations with supporting product information to Distributors and direct accounts.
  5. Manage Hilliard Distributors, Agents, Representatives and Resellers as assigned by supervisor. Management duties to include periodic evaluations, training, establishment of sales goals, evaluation of territory potential, joint sales calls, and marketing/sales plans to achieve company goals as set forth by management.
  6. Responsible to identify new and replacing old representations as required.
  7. Perform direct OEM and key account management and sales as assigned by supervisor.
  8. Regional Sales Manager shall be responsible for identifying, calling on and maintaining existing business as well as identifying new key accounts and opportunities.

Requirements:
  1. BS Degree and or equivalent Sales Management experience; Engineering degree preferred.
  2. Regional Sales Manager shall report to VP of Sales.
  3. Domestic and International travel, as required.
  4. Read blueprints and electrical schematics.
  5. Strong interest in business and product development.
  6. Maintain cooperative and open communication with all personnel and departments.
  7. CAD Software; Microsoft Office Suite a plus.
  8. Be able to perform duties in an ever-changing fast paced environment.
  9. Perform other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
