Overview
The Rental Services Regional Manager oversees the efficient operation of Rental Services branches within the Region.
Wages
Starting wage for the Rental Services Regional Manager will depend on experience and education. $150,000 - $182,000.
Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities for the Rental Services Regional Manager include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Assists in the development and implementation of rental sales strategies.
• Recruits, develops and ensures proper training schedules for rental staff.
• Ensures achievement of yearly financial and market share goals.
• Works in conjunction with the General Manager and Sales Manager to maintain competitive and profitable rental rates and a "lost rents" reporting system.
• Visits every branch within the region at least twice per month. Makes customer visits with each Sales Representative within the region twice per year.
• Maintains positive, professional, and productive relationships within the business unit and other Quinn Group businesses.
• Actively participates and contributes in managerial meetings and credit meetings.
• Make presentations as needed to customers, employees, and industry associations.
• Assists in establishing yearly budgets and equipment forecasts.
• Reviews monthly operating statements for each branch within the region and closely works with branch managers to correct deficiencies.
• Perform PADS reviews on all direct reports in a timely manner.
• Work closely with Rental Services Credit Manager to ensure accounts are kept within acceptable DSO limits.
• Aligns, partners, and collaborates with assigned HR representative to proactively manage employee relations and support/develop business unit objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university and five to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Must have good written communication skills. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
