The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY is actively seeking a highly motivated candidate with outstanding credentials to work in our Regional Radiology Division. The successful applicant will be required to spend time at any of the UR Medicine locations. Candidates should be committed to clinical radiology.

Compensation and benefit packages are highly competitive, including 403b and 457 plans, disability insurance, and tuition benefits. As a non-profit institution, service time may count toward the public service federal loan forgiveness program. Faculty enjoy competitive combined vacation and conference time each year. The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester is a practice of approximately 90 radiologists and 25-30 residents and fellows. Technical highlights include state of the art information technology, 3T MRI, a clinical PET/MRI, Dual Energy CT and digital PET/CT. The department's PACS system is integrated into a comprehensive electronic clinical information system. Annual study volumes are approaching 1,000,000 across several imaging locations throughout the region. The Finger Lakes region of New York is famous for its outdoor participatory sports and is the 3rd largest wine region in the United States.

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
