Gilbane is seeking a Senior Operational Excellence Manager to provide Operational Excellence (OpEx) resources across projects in a single Business Unit (BU) or multiple small BUs. This role will sit primarily in the office.

Responsibilities
    Identifies project risks for Project Health Assessments (PHAs), engages internal resources to develop resolutions, and evaluates plans to achieve successful resolution and/or mitigate risk
  • Reviews client survey feedback and ensures proper follow-up, helps project team make plan to exceed expectations
  • Ensures strategic plan is being implemented and followed
  • Contributes to and presents in the companywide, monthly OpEx peer group meetings
  • Participates in functional peer groups as relevant to current tasks, roles, and responsibilities
  • Assists in responding to internal audits conducted within the BU/Division
  • Participates in GMP executive team reviews and lump sum bid reviews
  • Develops and implements process improvements with project teams
  • Acts as a resource for any operational issues that arise on a project (field, financial, etc.)
  • Facilitates trainings on OpEx core functions
  • Responsible for the career development and coaching of team members
  • Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage team members
  • Interprets and translates the organizational strategy, ensuring team understanding of their role in accomplishing strategic goals
Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Construction Management
  • 10+ years of experience in the construction industry
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Ability to independently and critically analyze project performance, project risks, determine root causes, recommend corrective actions, and report to BU leadership
  • Communicate with power and influence
  • Passionate about client relationships and satisfaction
  • Passionate for continuous improvement and drives for results
  • Has advanced knowledge of the Project Financial Forecast
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate the "Why" of our policies and procedures
  • Advanced analytical skills using MicroStrategy and knowledge of customizing reports for their use
  • Ability to develop alternative solutions to problems and recommend the best solution for the company

Multiple office/tier locations (insert .8 compa-ratio of the lowest tier and 1.1 compa-ratio of the highest tier.)

Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.

The pay ranges from $123,600 - $192,700 plus benefits and retirement program.
