 About This Opportunity:

Our Assistant Regional Distribution Manager (ARDM) is a key role in the organization providing management and support for our Rancho Cordova, CA distribution center.

The ARDM will be responsible for providing support in the management of distribution center activities, and the daily supervision of personnel. They will ensure the company safety, quality, delivery, and inventory objectives are met. This role will assist the Senior Regional Distribution Manager in maintaining performance objectives and strategic planning.

 In addition, the ARDM will be responsible for overseeing all pharmaceutical products stored within the distribution center and ensure all storage, temperature and regulatory requirements are met. Duties will include the daily recording and logging of temperatures throughout the warehouse, management of expiration dates on prescription items, and the quarantine and return of pharmaceuticals as needed.

Who Are You?

  • At least 21 years of age
  • 2 years of full-time verifiable history with a pharmacy or wholesaler in a capacity related to the dispensing and distribution of and the record-keeping related to prescription drugs
  • Have not been convicted of a violation of any federal, state, or local laws relating to wholesale or retail prescription drug distribution or the distribution of controlled substances.
  • BA/AA or certifications in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration and/or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Forklift certified
  • Must have minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical related experience
  • Minimum 3 years Supervisory and Management experience of personnel.
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with others
  • Working knowledge of warehouse/mechanical equipment, performance management, and warehouse management systems
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Strong organization and prioritizing skills
  • Attention to details and follows through on assigned tasks and projects
  • Proficient at MS Office, MS Excel
  • A can-do attitude with excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills
