Job Description:

The Regional Accountant, reporting to the Regional Accounting Manager, will ensure that various brands' bills are paid in a timely manner, billings in Service Titan are recorded in Intacct, banking transactions and other accounting journals are recorded accurately, and Balance Sheet reconciliations are completed. To summarize, this role helps ensure that all business transactions are recorded timely and accurately using standardized processes. This role will support two to three brands dependent on volume and will be a key accounting contact for those brands going forward.
Responsibilities

  • Match Purchase Orders with packing slips and vendor statements for accuracy.
  • Enter and pay bills timely and accurately and reconcile to supplier statements
  • Enter all credit card transactions and reconcile to credit card statements
  • Weekly Check runs.
  • Maintain & establish relationships with new and existing vendors
  • Maintain Accounts Payable Aging Report and ensure it agrees with the general
  • ledger
  • Properly account for prepaid expenses and recognize them in the correct
  • periods.
  • Find and fix any errors from jobs and batch into Intacct
  • Maintain Accounts Receivable Aging Report and ensure it agrees to the general
  • ledger
  • Ensure jobs are closed and accounted for in the correct period.
  • Account for and recognize deferred revenue and maintain accounts.
  • Work with Controller/Manager to close out month end.
  • Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Sales & Use tax returns
