Regional Sales Representative – Florida
MC Armor | Based in Boca Raton, FL | Territory: Florida

About the Role
MC Armor is looking for a driven, relationship-focused sales professional to own and grow our Florida territory. You'll be the face of MC Armor to law enforcement agencies, federal agencies, security firms, dealers, and distributors across the state — building the kind of trust that turns a single sale into a long-term account.
Responsibilities
  • Drive sales growth across the assigned Florida territory, working both existing accounts and new business development.
  • Build and maintain relationships with law enforcement procurement contacts, federal agency buyers, security firms, and retail/dealer partners.
  • Represent MC Armor at trade shows, range days, product demonstrations, and industry events to generate and qualify leads.
  • Deliver technical product demonstrations and clearly explain ballistic protection levels, materials, and certification standards to prospective buyers.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, proposals, quoting, negotiation, and closing.
  • Maintain accurate territory and account records in CRM Salesforce; submit regular activity, pipeline, and expense reports.
  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends in the body armor and tactical equipment space, and relay insights to sales leadership.
  • Support distributor and dealer accounts, ensuring proper inventory levels and brand representation.
  • Stay current on federal and state procurement processes relevant to law enforcement and government sales.

Requirements
  • 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in body armor, personal protection, tactical/duty gear, or law enforcement equipment.
  • Proven track record selling into law enforcement agencies, federal agencies, or a comparable B2G/B2B market.
  • Working knowledge of body armor standards and certifications (e.g., NIJ ratings) and ability to speak credibly to threat levels and materials.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) for pipeline and account management.
  • Comfortable with a high-travel role within the territory, including trade shows and in-person demos.
  • Valid driver's license; ability to pass a background check (felony convictions disqualifying, given the nature of the product and end-use customers).
  • Genuine respect for and comfort working alongside law enforcement, military, and first responder communities.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Self-starter who can manage a territory independently while coordinating with sales leadership and customer service teams.

Preferred
  • Existing relationships within Florida law enforcement, corrections, or federal procurement contacts.
  • Experience with government/municipal bid and procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with the competitive landscape  and how MC Armor differentiates.
  • Bilingual Spanish- English.

What MC Armor Offers
  • Competitive base salary plus commission structure.
  • Territory ownership with growth potential into a regional or national sales leadership role.
  • Health and vision insurance; PTO
  • A mission-driven culture focused on protecting the people who protect others.
Location: Boca Raton, FL (territory covers Florida, with regular in-state travel)
