Department: Business Development Location: Remote FLSA Status: Exempt SUMMARY The Business Development Manager for 360 Direct Access is a dynamic growth driver who builds meaningful connections, accelerates revenue, and strengthens our brand presence on and off the stage. In this fast-paced, high-impact role, you will lead efforts to identify, engage, and cultivate partnerships that expand our reach and deliver measurable results. Beyond traditional business development, you'll champion 360 Direct Access at industry conferences, generating qualified leads, shaping our presence in the marketplace, and contributing to a winning culture that thrives on collaboration, innovation, and bold results. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Research, identify, and pursue new business opportunities to grow 360 Direct Access partnerships and contracts. Cultivate long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, both regionally and nationally. Represent 360 Direct Access with confidence on stage at industry events and conferences, building visibility and generating qualified leads. At events, must be able to set up, man, and provide demonstrations at 360 Direct Access exhibit booth. Identify RFP and grant opportunities that align with our service offerings. Lead the design of customized proposals and RFP process for opportunities from start to finish. Close new deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating agreements with business operations. Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitors, and market strategies to position 360 Direct Access as a trusted leader. Work with marketing on ensuring that sales efforts are consistent in branding. Collaborate with internal teams to align business development efforts with overall growth strategy. Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations to audiences of all sizes, including Fortune 500 companies. High-level networking expertise, with a proven track record of building relationships and partnerships that translate into business growth. Strong contract negotiation skills with deep experience in RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs. Confidence and stage presence at industry events, able to engage, inspire, and represent the brand with excellence. Must have experience using HubSpot or Salesforce CRM to manage pipelines, track activities, and measure results. Adaptable, self-motivated, and energized by a fast-paced environment. Self-driven with strong organizational skills, able to provide ongoing reports. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor degree in Business Management, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of five years of proven success in business development or sales. Demonstrated proficiency with HubSpot or Salesforce CRM. Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) preferred. WORK ENVIRONMENT This is a remote, self-directed position requiring strong collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders. The role involves extensive virtual communication (phone, videophone, text, or video conferencing) and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
