Job description

Reports to: Director Financial Planning and Analysis

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Role Purpose:

 We have an amazing opportunity to join our fantastic Menzies Aviation team as a Regional Finance Manager. This role is responsible for all financial aspects of performance, control and reporting for several locations within the US region.

We are looking for someone who has a relevant financial qualification or qualifications by experience.

What you will be doing:

  • Completion of weekly flash financial reports.
  • Produce monthly financial statements (profit and loss statements and other financial reports).
  • Produce quarterly reforecast and annual budgets.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual 5 Year Plans.
  • Preparation of investment appraisal requests.
  • Assist in the preparation and response to RFP’s and renewals of customer contracts.
  • Provide financial advice to the region’s operations and act as a business partner
  • Provide financial support to Regional Ops leadership.
  • Management, mentorship and leadership of Financial Analysts on team.
  • Ensure adherence to Group policies on accounting and controls.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:

  • Relevant accounting qualification or qualification by experience.
  • General accounting experience necessary and 2+ years of management experience (to include progressively more responsible financial management and supervisory experience).
  • Experience and skillset of communicating effectively with non-financial workstreams and providing sound, actionable business advice.
  • Expertise in Excel, accounting ERPs and OneStream (or similar) a plus.
  • Must have strong organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and complete projects within mission critical deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, in person, on the phone and in writing.
  • Aviation industry experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to look at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor within a very hectic work environment.
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally utilizing various transportation methods.
