We're seeking a dynamic, people-first Community Manager to lead operations at a senior residential community Regency Crest in Ellicott City, Maryland. In this role, you'll take full ownership of the community by elevating the resident experience, leading a talented team, and driving operational and financial success.

Key Responsibilities
Lead & Inspire Your Team
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing on-site team, including an Assistant Property Manager, Leasing Consultant and Maintenance staff
  • Set clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and foster a culture of accountability and growth
  • Hire, train, and retain top talent aligned with company values

Drive Operational Excellence
  • Oversee all aspects of property operations, including leasing, marketing, maintenance, and administration
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and service standards are consistently executed
  • Step in to support any function as needed to keep operations running smoothly

Deliver an Elevated Resident Experience
  • Create a refined, responsive, and hospitality-driven environment residents are proud to call home
  • Handle resident concerns with professionalism, discretion, and a solutions-first mindset
  • Ensure seamless, high-touch move-in and move-out experiences

Own Financial Performance
  • Partner with the Regional Manager and Property Accountant to develop and manage the annual budget
  • Monitor performance, identify variances, and implement strategic solutions
  • Maximize revenue through strong rent collection practices and new income opportunities
  • Oversee expenses, reporting, and payroll submissions

Maintain & Enhance a Luxury Asset
  • Ensure the community remains impeccably maintained, safe, and visually exceptional
  • Approve and oversee repairs, replacements, and capital improvements
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality, timely service delivery

Qualifications
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Strong organizational and operational management skills
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and expenses
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven mindset
  • Professional presence aligned with a luxury brand environment
  • Proficient working on computers (Microsoft and Yardi)
  • 3+ years of management experience supervising teams

Work Environment & Requirements
  • Active, on-site role requiring movement throughout the property (indoors and outdoors)
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 15 lbs
  • Must be available on-site during business hours with evenings/weekends as needed
  • This is an on-site position and cannot be performed remotely
