As we continue to grow, we?re looking for a skilled and safety-focusedAnhydrous Ammonia Refrigeration Managerto lead our refrigeration team and ensure our systems run efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with all applicable regulations.Position Overview:As theRefrigeration Manager, you will oversee the maintenance, operation, and regulatory compliance of our ammonia-based refrigeration systems. You?ll lead a team of technicians, manage preventive maintenance schedules, and ensure a safe working environment aligned with PSM and RMP standards.Key Responsibilities:Lead daily operations of the ammonia refrigeration system (NH3).Supervise and train refrigeration technicians.Develop and maintain PSM/RMP documentation.Troubleshoot system issues and ensure efficient operation.Schedule and oversee preventative maintenance and system repairs.Coordinate with safety, production, and facilities teams to maintain compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.Respond to refrigeration alarms and emergencies (on-call rotation may be required).Qualifications:5+ years of hands-on experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems.RETA certification (CIRO, CARO) or equivalent preferred.Strong knowledge of PSM/RMP regulations and best practices.Experience with control systems (e.g., Frick, Danfoss, etc.).Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work in cold storage environments and respond to emergencies as needed.
