Job description:
Atlantic Refrigeration has been servicing our clients in South Florida since 1962, and we are seeking Installation Helper to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting Installers with residential and/or commercial installation projects involving heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, specifically air handlers, indoor coils, UV lights, air cleaners and other indoor air quality equipment following manufacture specifications and company requirements. The HVAC Install Helper is essentially an apprentice to the Installer.

What You'll Do:
• Coordinate with Installers to understand their requirements and expectations
• Support Installers with residential and commercial installation projects
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Help arrange for necessary equipment and materials needed for installations
• Assist Installers with ensuring time efficiency of projects
• Follow safe and accurate installation procedures and best practices
• Ensure tools and equipment are clean, available and in good working order
• Support the quality of installations and perform corrective actions as instructed
• Help with preparation and clean-up of job sites before and after installation
• Participate in on-going training sessions for installation teams to ensure competence and knowledge about the products being installed
What You'll Bring:
• 1 year experience as an HVAC Helper or similar role
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and maintenance
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team
• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
• Ability to understand technical instructions and diagrams
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license is preferred
• Mechanical, analytical and active listening skills
