Job description

Aqua Logic Inc. is a growing manufacturing company specializing in chilled water and refrigeration systems. We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Refrigeration Assembler I to join our production team in Monroe, NC. This role is responsible for building complete chilled water systems by assembling refrigeration components, routing and joining copper tubing, and performing electrical and performance testing. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in a hands-on manufacturing environment that values quality, safety, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

·       Assemble chilled water and refrigeration systems according to drawings, SOPs, and work instructions.

·       Mount compressors, condensers, and related components onto frames using hand and power tools.

·       Perform soldering and brazing operations:

o   Identify proper tubing sizes and materials.

o   Bend and route copper tubing to specified dimensions in a neat, professional manner.

o   Braze or solder joints using torches without damaging surrounding components.

o   Inspect joints to ensure full fusion, cleanliness, and leak-free connections.

·       Evacuate (vacuum) refrigeration systems as part of quality control.

·       Pressure test systems using dry nitrogen and visually inspect units prior to release to the next work center.

·       Perform electrical checks and assist with performance testing of finished equipment.

·       Rework or replace components on units rejected by quality control.

·       Move units and components manually or with material-handling equipment such as carts or forklifts.

·       Support other production operations as needed; cross-training and flexibility are required.

·       Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area that supports efficiency, quality, and team success.

·       Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and required PPE practices.

Qualifications

Education

·       High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

·       Technical school training in HVACR

Experience

·       Minimum of 2 years of refrigeration and/or air-conditioning experience (preferred)

·       Experience using small hand tools and power tools (preferred)

Skills & Abilities

·       Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, SOPs, and work instructions

·       Ability to identify part numbers, labels, and technical documentation accurately

·       Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

·       Ability to read, write, and understand English fluently

·       Ability to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment
