Job Description

Summary:

At HWI, the Service Representative II is an essential part of customer service.  This individual represents HWI onsite and has direct communications with our customers ensuring we meet multiple demands in a timely manner.  The Service Representative is critical to the ongoing success of our relationship with our customers. This individual will prep refractories for installation on customer site such as the steel mill prioritizing jobs. The Service Representative is also responsible for maintaining a clean, safe work environment..

Essential Functions:

  • Prepares steel / iron vessels for installation of refractories
  • Stage refractories to be used.
  • Work with customer installing / supervising refractories
  • Work with customer cleaning up the job site
Qualifications
  • Requires high school diploma
  • Requires some mechanical aptitude
  • Requires the ability to understand safety requirements.
  • Refractory knowledge helpful.
  • Requires at least two years of installation experience
