Job description


We are looking for a Senior Accountant to lead the financial framework that ensures accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across the firm. This is a role for someone who thrives on solving complex accounting challenges, building structured systems, and driving process improvements that deliver measurable impact.
You will hold ownership over the workflows and controls that safeguard the firm's financial health. You'll be trusted to design, test, and continuously refine accounting processes with autonomy and authority.   • Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts, bank statements, and thirdparty reports to ensure accuracy of financial records. 
  • Prepare and review complex journal entries and account reconciliations during monthend close. 
  • Research periodoverperiod variances in revenue, expense, cost of sales, and cash activity, and provide clear explanations.
  • Lead efforts to improve accounting processes, workflows, and internal controls in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Own and drive month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Lead special projects that advance operational efficiency, data integrity, and financial reporting accuracy.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with demonstrated ability to operate independently at a senior level
  • Advanced knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software; experience with ERP systems preferred 
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to present financial findings clearly to leadership
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team
