  • Track individuals eligible for reentry services and support coordination of required pre-release healthcare services.

  • Collaborate with clinical staff, care managers, and facility personnel to ensure required waiver services are delivered and documented appropriately.

  • Coordinate with Washington Health Care Authority (HCA), Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), and community healthcare providers regarding reentry care coordination activities.

  • Maintain records of waiver-related services provided prior to release, including documentation required for program compliance and reporting.

  • Prepare, review, and submit claims for Medicaid 1115 Reentry Waiver services in accordance with state requirements and contractual agreements with the facility.

  • Ensure all required documentation supports accurate and compliant billing, including coordination with clinical and care coordination staff to resolve discrepancies and maintain audit readiness.

  • Monitor program workflows to ensure required services are completed within established timelines prior to an individual’s release.

  • Support communication and coordination between correctional healthcare staff and community healthcare providers to facilitate continuity of care.

  • Assist with preparation of documentation supporting program reporting, audits, and compliance monitoring.

  • Track program participation metrics and assist with internal reporting related to waiver services.

  • Ensure patient authorizations and consent documentation are obtained when required for information exchange.

  • Identify operational barriers that may impact timely delivery of reentry services and escalate concerns to program leadership as appropriate.

  • Stay informed on Washington Medicaid program updates and policies related to justice-involved populations and reentry services.

  • Assist with additional administrative or coordination tasks related to the Medicaid Reentry program as assigned.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What we Ask of YOU:

  • Experience in healthcare, correctional healthcare, or a regulated industry is preferred.

  • Demonstrated success in applying function-specific skills (e.g., employee relations for HR, financial reporting for Finance, or sales strategy for Sales) is required.

  • Knowledge of relevant industry-specific regulations, compliance standards, and best practices may be required, particularly for roles in highly regulated functions like HR and Finance.

  • Relevant industry certifications based on the role (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, CPA, etc.).
