Join us in shaping the future of F&S Fresh Foods!Requirements    Pipco Truck Service Center is a highly qualified company that services and repairs freight trucks and trailers and performs preventative maintenance for commercial vehicles and fleets. Our team of experienced and dedicated technicians possess the necessary experience to get the job done accurately and timely. We service various equipment such as Tractors, Trailers, Farm equipment, etc.We have a current opening for an experienced Reefer & Tractor Trailer Technician to work out of our Rosenhayn NJ facility.

This is a full time, day shift position.Principle Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform Reefer preventative maintenance on a varying fleet of trailersPerform tire changesEnsure compliance with safety-sensitive areas in accordance with FHWA and DOT rules and regulationsInspect, service, and repair trailer refrigeration systemSafely operate a vehicle in accordance with CDL guidelinesSafely operate customer and company-owned vehicles inside the yard as neededObserve safety and security procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, report injuries/accidents immediately, demonstrate safe behavior at all times, especially when using company property and/or operating equipment and vehiclesPerform associated tasks in various environmentsConduct self in a positive manner and act in accordance with company, state, federal and local guidelinesComplete all necessary paperwork and maintain records in accordance with Federal, State, and company policiesComplete all required documentation and utilize our company-specific work order systemDocument & research records of work performed and parts used on work ordersWork with other mechanics and technicians to work efficiently and effectivelyFollow supervisor instructionsWork in adverse weather conditionsMaintain a clean and organized working environmentDemonstrate internal and external customer serviceProfessionally represent Pipco at all timesOther duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesHigh School Diploma or equivalentMust possess a clean driving recordHave the ability to pull trailers in and out of the shop for maintenanceMust Possess Tools & Toolbox associated with job class or classesKnowledge of Federal, State, and DOT regulationsBasic computer skills preferredMust be able to work independentlyPhysical RequirementsPerform equipment inspections and repairs on uneven ground and in adverse weather conditionsEnter and exit tractors and trailers and other equipment with proper techniquesAbility to lift 50 poundsFollow all company policies and safety proceduresBenefits:Paid Vacation, Personal Days & HolidaysSalary is based on experience levelMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceAflac available401KUniformsTool AllowanceJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayOn callOvertimeExperience:Reefer Trailer Technician: 2 years (Required)
