Redwire's Goleta facility is Made for the Mission, delivering advanced power generation technologies that enable spacecraft to operate reliably across every orbit and mission profile. With proprietary designs, deep technical expertise, and largescale production capabilities, the team develops solar array solutions tailored to each customer's size, power, and orbital needs. At the heart of these offerings is Redwire's patented Roll-Out Solar Array (ROSA), an awardwinning system that uses composite booms and modular photovoltaic blankets to create compactly stowable, highly efficient solar arrays. These mission-proven power systems have supported successful deployments across LEO, GEO, and deep space missions, including the ISS, NASA's IXPE mission, and NASA's DART mission.
Summary
Redwire Space Enterprises is seeking an experienced Contractor - Data and Systems Analyst to join the team in Goleta, CA for up to 6 months, with the potential for full-time conversion.
The Contractor - Data & Systems Analyst reports to the Operations Manager and supports the business site by designing, improving, and automating data workflows that enhance operational efficiency and reporting accuracy. This role blends analytics, light development, and business process optimization, enabling the organization to better leverage its system capabilities, streamline processes, and improve data integrity. A major focus of this role is converting manual Excelbased reporting into standardized, scalable data models and dashboards that improve clarity and reduce manual process time.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving everyday workflows, simplifying data, and helping teams make better decisions through clean reporting.
Responsibilities
  • Extract, transform, and model data from ERP and legacy systems to support reporting, analytics, and process evaluation.
  • Design simple repeatable datasets for ongoing reporting
  • Build small automation scripts or workflows to eliminate manual data tasks using tools such as Python, VBA, Power Automate, or BI workflow engines.
  • Build and support dashboards, reports, KPIs, and operational analytics across ERP, BI tools, and other platforms.
  • Ensure reporting consistency through governance and documentation.
  • Maintain clear documentation including process flows, SOPs, work instructions, and technical data artifacts.
  • Provide training on reporting tools, data responsibilities, and workflow changes to crossfunctional teams.
Ideal Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
  • 6-10 years of experience in Development, Operations, Business Systems, or Analytics roles
  • Strong proficiency with SQL, advanced Excel, and Power BI
  • Experience with ERP systems and operational data structures
  • Ability to design repeatable, scalable data workflows
  • Familiarity with Python, VBA, or lowcode/nocode automation solutions
  • Process mapping and redesign experience (Visio)
  • Clear communication and facilitation skills.
  • Understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, or finance workflows

Pay Range
$60 - $75/hour

Redwire determines pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data, for our locations throughout the US. We will evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index, in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company.
For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant's level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. Additionally, we consider the external market rate, the amount we have budgeted internally, and internal equity within the company for the same position. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.
