We’re looking for people with a mindset and the heart to take on something bigger than themselves. People who are curious, driven, and ready to be part of work that moves the world forward, every single day.

At Redwire, you don’t just build, solve, or create. You protect lives, expand possibilities, and shape the future in real ways. Redwire is a place for those who want their work to mean something, for those who want to grow, to push the boundaries further, and to be surrounded by others who feel the same.
Summary of Role

The location can vary, depending upon candidate's geographic location and proximity to a Redwire facility. In this role, you will be responsible for or owning day‑to‑day content creation across platforms, combining creative production, channel management, and analytics. This role blends creative storytelling, video production, editing, community engagement, and data‑driven optimization to grow brand presence and drive measurable results. The ideal candidate is both a hands‑on creator and a strategic thinker who understands how to tailor content to each platform’s culture, audience, and algorithms. Some travel will be required, including visiting various Redwire locations and events.
Responsibilities
  • Produce short‑form and long‑form video content showcasing spacecraft, defense systems, R amp;D, engineering teams, test events, launches, and mission milestones.
  • Film and edit video using professional tools, ensuring accuracy and clarity when depicting technical processes or sensitive environments.
  • Write compelling copy, captions, hooks, and headlines optimized for each platform.
  • Own daily posting, scheduling, and publishing across all social channels and monitor trends, platform updates, and cultural moments to identify real‑time content opportunities.
  • Develop content series that highlight engineering breakthroughs, mission updates, workforce culture, and customer value.
  • Manage community interactions, including comments, DMs, and audience engagement.
  • Collaborate with other Redwire departments and executive leaders to coordinate shoots and content needs.
  • Create social reports that capture and analyze the relevant social data, insights and best practices, and then act on the information
Ideal Experience
  • 3 or more years of demonstrated experience producing social‑first video content, ideally for a technical, aerospace, or defense‑related organization.
  • Experienced with social media tools that include editing and graphics software such as Adobe CC Suite.
  • Video editing and post‑production experience.
  • Experience with multiple social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Prior experience writing clear, engaging, platform‑specific copy.
  • Experience scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, Sprout Social, YouTube Studio).
  • Ability to travel of up to 20% may be required
Desired Skills
  • Ability to provide consistent creative work in a fast-paced environment
  • Background in aerospace, defense, engineering, or science communication is preferred.
  • Ability to translate complex engineering concepts into clear, engaging visual stories.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work across the organization with a variety of departments and ability to manage outside vendors that support the role.
  • Detailed oriented, a self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Expert knowledge of social media tools that include editing, and graphics software such as Adobe CC Suite.
Grow with us as we innovate the next generation capabilities for a new era of space exploration! We offer a highly competitive benefits package along with a commitment to our core values of Integrity, Innovation, Impact, Inclusion, and Excellence.
Don’t meet every single requirement above? No worries. We want people who can grow, collaborate and build a stronger team.
