Job description

Position Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Remote Miami

Overview:
We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager to grow our client portfolio across the commercial sector. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to closing and onboarding, while working hand-in-hand with our account management and creative teams to deliver communications solutions that resonate. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, navigating complex buying committees, and translating client challenges into compelling agency partnerships.
Key Responsibilities 
Leadership:  
  • Develop and execute a proactive outbound strategy to build a qualified pipeline of mid-market and enterprise commercial clients
  • Lead discovery conversations, craft tailored proposals, and deliver persuasive pitches that clearly articulate our agency’s value
  • Build and nurture senior-level relationships with CMOs, communications directors, and VP-level decision-makers
  • Meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets and maintain accurate pipeline data within the CRM
  • Collaborate with creative, strategy, and account teams to shape solutions and scope new engagements accurately
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and contribute to upsell and cross-sell strategy
  • Other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field
  • Proven track record of closing five and six-figure deals with complex buying cycles
  • Familiarity with communications disciplines: PR, content, brand, digital, or media
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proposal and pitch writing
  • Comfort with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot, and sales forecasting
