Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Foreman to manage day-to-day field operations across multiple high-end swimming pool and landscape construction projects. This role is responsible for supervising field crews, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring quality control on-site.

The Foreman serves as Red Leaf's on-site leader--upholding safety standards, solving problems in real time, and ensuring every project meets company expectations for quality and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily on-site construction activities for assigned projects
  • Supervise and coordinate field crews and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain jobsite cleanliness
  • Monitor project schedules and proactively identify and communicate potential delays
  • Track material quantities, equipment needs, and site logistics
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, progress photos, as-built documentation, and inspection records
  • Resolve field issues and ensure punch-list items are completed promptly
  • Verify work is completed according to construction plans and company quality standards
  • Represent Red Leaf professionally when interacting with clients, inspectors, neighbors, and trade partners

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a construction leadership role (Foreman, Crew Lead, or Superintendent)
  • Plumbing or irrigation experience required
  • Experience in pool construction, landscape construction, or hardscape construction strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and jobsite coordination
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Clear communication skills with a professional, client-focused demeanor
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive); experience with Smartsheet or similar project management software preferred
  • Highly organized, proactive, and aligned with a high-performance team culture

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move up to 85 pounds
  • Ability to stoop, crawl, kneel, bend, twist, and reach above shoulder height
  • Ability to grasp and perform fine motor tasks
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours per day)
  • Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
