Full Time Warehouse Lead, Pineville NC

Position Summary

Hay Distributing, Inc. is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Lead to support our fast-paced beverage distribution operation.

This is a highly active, hands-on position. The Warehouse Lead works alongside the warehouse team throughout the entire shift, handling cases of Red Bull, loading and checking delivery trucks, organizing inventory, receiving product, and helping keep daily operations moving efficiently.

This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, stays productive without constant supervision, and wants to build a long-term career with a growing company. Previous leadership experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train someone who demonstrates reliability, initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to lead by example.

This role requires continuous movement throughout the shift. Team members regularly:

  • Manually lift, carry, stack, and organize cases of Red Bull
  • Step up into and down from delivery trucks throughout the day
  • Count and verify inventory on trucks returning from delivery routes
  • Load, unload, and organize beverage products
  • Work both inside the warehouse and around the outdoor loading area
  • Work in changing temperatures, including heat, cold, humidity, and rain
  • Balance speed and physical productivity with inventory accuracy

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily warehouse operations and execution
  • Support the loading and verification of daily delivery routes
  • Ensure accurate product rotation and inventory organization
  • Receive, organize, and stage inbound product deliveries
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate discrepancies or concerns to management
  • Assist with training and supporting warehouse team members
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment safely
  • Help ensure load accuracy and minimize product discrepancies
  • Support daily operational needs in a fast-paced distribution environment
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety expectations

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to regularly life up to 50 pounds
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required
  • Basic inventory and warehouse system knowledge preferred
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Warehouse, grocery stocking, retail, food service, delivery, landscaping, construction, athletics, or similar experience is welcomed

Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • Typical schedule begins at 11:00 AM
  • End time varies based on daily operational needs, typically between 7:00 PM โ€“ 8:00 PM
  • Some shifts may end earlier or later depending on workload and business demands
  • Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs
