Position Summary
The Reporting Analyst is the communication channel for both Sales and Trade organizations related to their reporting and marketing needs.
Recurrent: The Reporting Analyst will consolidate and push scheduled reports to Sales and Trade teams, as well as attend key meetings to obtain and circulate information to all teams.
On Demand: The Reporting Analyst will receive all requests for Reporting On Demand from both Sales and Trade teams. Depending on the level of complexity, the report may be generated by the Reporting Analyst or may be elevated to the Database Management team for the creation.
Functions & Duties
  • Attend and participate in various in-house and virtual meetings to monitor trending service performance, align our analytical reporting efforts to match the regional sales team and stay abreast of changing market conditions
  • Consolidate (if needed), validate and provide all the Recurrent Reports to both Sales and Trade teams as per scheduled
  • Receive all the On Demand reporting request from both Sales and Trade teams. Analyze the complexity and prioritize. Escalate to the Database Management teams, if needed
  • Generate On Demand presentation to Sales and Trade Teams following the pre-approved format templates
  • Organize and create the Customer Advisory pertaining to Sales and Trade
  • MISCELLANEOUS RELATED DUTIES or PROJECTS AS ASSIGNED

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Scope of CMA service profiles
  • Familiarity with Sales Organization
  • Familiarity with CMA systems (LARA, DIVA, MIRA, etc.)
  • General transportation industry knowledge
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze and be comfortable working with large amounts of data
  • Excellent analytical skills with proactive attitude
  • Exceptional skill in MS Excel: Including Pivot Tables, v-Lookups & Graphing
  • Proven computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Access and SQL knowledge preferred
  • Team player with good interpersonal and organizational abilities
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work under stress and tight timelines
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities
  • Ability to work with and through others (Trade, Inside Sales and Field Sales) to achieve the required outcome
  • Ability to manage time efficiently
  • Available to work over 40 hours a week to complete essential projects

At CMA CGM, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The expected salary range for this position is $62,000 - $65,000 per year. The actual salary offered will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
