FLSA Status:   Hourly Non-Exempt

Reports To:   Department Head

Location:    The Woodlands, TX   

Amount of Travel Required:   Less than 25%

Work Schedule:   Monday - Friday, 8A - 5P

POSITION SUMMARY: Beusa Energy is seeking talented undergraduate and graduate students for internship opportunities across its various U.S. operations. As an intern, you will collaborate with our experienced team on key initiatives in E&P operations, fracturing services, turbine power solutions, and logistics management. You’ll gain practical experience, tackle real-world challenges, and contribute to operational improvements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.")

  • Work alongside industry professionals to develop skills in technical problem-solving, data analysis, and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to safety protocols, helping maintain high standards of operational safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Gain hands-on experience in logistics management, equipment maintenance, and process optimization in diverse service areas.
  • Develop communication and leadership abilities through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Materials & Logistics: “May” assist in inventory management, material tracking, and logistics coordination to support operations across various service lines.
  • Accounting: “May” assist with reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and supporting monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Administration: “May” provide administrative support through scheduling, document management, and coordinating office activities to ensure efficient operations.
  • Data Technology: “May” collaborate with IT teams to maintain databases, troubleshoot system issues, and assist in implementing technology solutions.
  • Finance: “May” participate in financial modeling, budget analysis, and forecasting to aid in the strategic financial planning of the organization.
  • Human Resources: “May” support recruitment processes, employee onboarding, and maintain HR databases, ensuring compliance with employment regulations.
  • Legal: May assist in preparing and reviewing contracts, legal documents, and conducting research on compliance and regulatory issues.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
     

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sophomore or junior in a related engineering or business program (e.g., petroleum, mechanical, civil, electrical, or logistics/supply chain management).
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have dependable transportation to commute to the worksite consistently, as public transportation may not be available or feasible for the location.
  • Successfully passes background check, pre-employment drug screening, an any pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s)
  • Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing, including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License required. Employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL

  • Must be currently enrolled as a sophomore or junior in a relevant engineering or business program, such as petroleum, mechanical, civil, electrical engineering, or logistics/supply chain management.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
     

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
  • Passion for the energy sector and a desire to develop expertise in operations, fracturing, power solutions, or logistics.

The Beusa Energy intern may work both indoors in an office setting and outdoors in the field, depending on their assigned tasks. In an office setting, the intern may sit for extended periods, using a computer and engaging in repetitive motions with their hands and fingers.  While in the office, the Beusa Energy intern may be called upon to stand, kneel, push, pull, reach overhead, stoop, crouch, climb, and lift; therefore, the Beusa Energy intern should be able to lift 25 lbs. independently.

Work hours may include or includes early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
