Job description

Employee Value Proposition:
Coordinates full cycle of recruiting activities including experienced sourcing, phone screening and interviewing quality candidates for employment opportunities with the company. Will be based out of our Birmingham Office with some travel to our Huntsville and Montgomery offices. May also be required to visit job sites to assist with In-Person Interviews.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Manages application/resume retention according to legal requirements and company policy
  • Review resumes/applications to find quality candidates who meet position criteria
  • Schedules and completes initial applicant screening to obtain applicant information and history, to include phone interviews and face-to-face interviews
  • Coordinates and schedules candidate interviews with hiring managers
  • Utilizes media resources, job boards, social media to promote the organization and career opportunities
  • Conducts extensive candidate reference checks and coordinates pre-employment screening
  • Schedules and attends career/job fairs
  • Develops recruitment strategy to achieve required staffing levels
  • Creates new, innovative methods to improve the recruitment process
  • Ensures compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations during the recruitment process
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience, and be an CSUSA Mid South brand ambassador to candidates, presenting a positive and compelling company image
  • Assist with maintaining of training programs using a variety of methods, including classroom instruction, online training, and on-the-job training
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements

Required Skills:
  • Recruiting/staffing experience (2-5 Years)
  • Strong computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
