Overview

The Recruitment Specialist for Western Canada will support the success of PepsiCo Canada by leading recruitment initiatives that strengthen our ability to attract and select top talent.   This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping PepsiCo's early talent pipeline and helping launch the next generation of talent.

Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, this role provides full-cycle recruitment support for a variety of career opportunities across Field Sales and Supply Chain in Western Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Execute end-to-end recruitment for assigned scope and ensure seamless candidate experiences
  • Partner with hiring teams to understand talent needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Communicate with Hiring Managers, HR Partners and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Organize recruitment campaigns, career fairs, and campus initiatives.
  • Execute campus recruitment, including building and maintaining partnerships with key universities, colleges, and student organizations.
  • Represent PepsiCo as a brand ambassador at campus events, career fairs, and networking sessions.
  • Support national programs such as Co-op Placements and New Grad Hiring pipelines
  • Collaborate with the national TA team to deliver a consistent, high-quality campus experience across Canada
  • Manage job postings, screen resumes, and schedule interviews.
  • Leverage various digital platforms to source talented candidates.
  • Pre-screen candidates to ensure that they fit the respective job specifications.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry and candidate management through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Initiate background checks for candidates and communicate results as required to ensure speed of hiring.
  • Maintain compliance with employment legislation and internal hiring policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Human Resources, or Business.
  • 1-2 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment or HR specialist capacity
  • Experience in campus recruitment, engaging with students, universities, and early career candidates is an asset
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Solid knowledge of hiring practices and employment legislation
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy and execution.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage ambiguous situations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and strong critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • High degree of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information with integrity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
