Contractor Relations Coordinator Overview


The Contractor Relations Coordinator is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for independent contractors, with a focus on high-volume, hourly roles. This includes sourcing, screening, interviewing, and supporting candidates through the offer and onboarding process.


Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position primarily supports the recruitment of Contractors supporting Box Truck Delivery operations while helping deliver a seamless and compliant onboarding experience.


Pay Rate: $46,000 per year + bonus opportunity

Key Responsibilities

(Include, but are not limited to):

  • Create and maintain job postings that are articulate, professional, and attention-grabbing to attract the right candidates
  • Proactively source candidates through networking, social media, and other tactics as necessary
  • Review all resumes and conduct the initial screening for each qualified candidate
  • Serve as a point of contact for candidates and hiring teams through the interview process. keeping all parties continuously informed of status updates
  • Ensure Excel spreadsheets and all other reporting are updated regularly
  • Continuously strive to find efficiencies and improvements as they relate to the recruiting process
  • Actively seek out recruiting industry changes and market trends and report back to the Contractor Relations Manager
  • Assist with contractor compliance requirements, including verification and collection of drivers licenses/state IDs, badges, and DOT Medical Cards
  • Help track and maintain compliance records within internal systems to support information tracking and audit readiness
  • Conduct touchpoint calls with contractors and team members as directed by Contractor Relations Manager to assist onboarding functions
  • Document and escalate compliance concerns or contractor issues identified during outreach to the Contractor Relations Manager
  • Manage and maintain accurate data within tracking systems, and reporting tools
  • Support onboarding efforts to ensure a smooth transition for onboarding contractors
  • Other Duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word. Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to navigate multiple programs simultaneously
  • Occasional travel may be required through the growth of the business
  • Problem-solving and creative thinking skills
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Works with a sense of urgency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to speak Spanish
  • Knowledge of a 3PL business Model
  • Knowledge of DOT Requirements
  • Understanding of Final Mile Delivery
