The Program Manager provides operational, administrative, and supervisory leadership for assigned Family Bridges programs and services. Guided by the organization's Mission, Vision, Values, and Strategic Plan, this position manages day-to-day program operations, staff, budgets, compliance, service quality, grants and contracts, data and reporting, and community partnerships to deliver high-quality, culturally responsive services.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned programs, services, staff, schedules, and work plans.
  • Implement program goals, policies, procedures, service standards, and performance measures in alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, grants, contracts, licensing, accreditation, funder requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Recruit, onboard, supervise, coach, develop, and evaluate staff while fostering accountability, teamwork, professional growth, and culturally responsive service delivery.
  • Monitor program budgets, expenditures, staffing allocations, contracts, deliverables, and operational outcomes in coordination with leadership and Finance.
  • Maintain accurate program records, documentation, data, and reports; identify trends, risks, service gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support quality improvement, program evaluation, corrective-action planning, and implementation of effective service practices.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with participants, families, funders, government agencies, community partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate program outreach, referrals, meetings, training, events, and cross-departmental activities, as assigned.
  • Respond to operational issues, incidents, complaints, and urgent service needs; escalate significant matters in accordance with organizational procedures.
  • Prepare program, grant, contract, fiscal, and performance reports and present updates to leadership and stakeholders, as requested.
  • Represent Family Bridges at community meetings, coalitions, and public forums, as assigned.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; master's degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible program-management experience, including at least two (2) years supervising staff or leading teams.
  • Experience managing program operations and supporting budgets, grants, contracts, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, performance reporting, and community partnerships.
  • Strong supervisory, communication, organizational, financial-management, decision-making, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populations; bilingual or multilingual skills relevant to the communities served are preferred.
  • Valid California driver's license and successful completion of required background clearances, as applicable.
