Job Description

As a member of the Program Management team, the Program Coordinator will support the execution of automotive electronics programs, including electronic control units (ECUs), power distribution modules, and other safetycritical electronic systems.

Responsibilities

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Support the Platform / Program Manager in strict adherence to the Lear Product and Manufacturing Process (LPMP) using the internal program development tracking system (LearPro)
  • Support program tracking of LPMP deliverables across crossfunctional areas (engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, purchasing, finance, etc.) to ensure visibility to risks impacting program timing and deliverables
  • Coordinate regularly scheduled Management Gateway Reviews (MGRs) to confirm compliance to program deliverables and approval to proceed to the next development phase
  • Generate and publish program status reports, dashboards, and summaries for program and management reviews
  • Work with functional teams to ensure required electronics program deliverables (hardware, software, validation, manufacturing readiness, APQP) are completed and uploaded in LearPro on time
  • Perform general automotive electronics program maintenance within LearPro, including schedules, deliverables, and documentation
  • Support Program Management and Engineering in managing prototype hardware, electronic components, and build materials for customer, validation, and internal builds
  • Track and report key electronics program milestones (design reviews, prototype builds, validation testing, PPAP readiness) to program and functional leadership
Your Qualifications
  • 4year college degree (preferred) in Engineering, Business, or related field
    (May consider candidates nearing completion of a 4year degree)
  • Ability to excel in a fastpaced, technically complex, and teambased environment
  • Strong organizational skills; detailoriented, taskdriven, accurate, and efficient
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create presentation materials and support presentations to upper management and customers
  • Proficiency with standard software tools (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project); familiarity with webbased systems
    (Training on Lear internal systems will be provided)
  • Schedule flexibility and ability to travel (limited duration; typically one week or less), if required
  • Summer internship or coop experience in the automotive or electronics industry is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams, collaborating with engineering, operations, quality, manufacturing, sales, finance, and purchasing
  • Forwardthinking individual with the ability to plan ahead, manage priorities, and deliver results
Bonus if You Have
  • Experience with automotive electronics, ECUs, power distribution modules, or electrical architectures
  • Exposure to hardware and software development lifecycles (APQP, validation, PPAP)
  • Familiarity with automotive customer requirements and launch milestones
  • Experience supporting prototype builds and preproduction activities for electronic systems
