Job description

About the Role:
Responsible for the loan operations of a defined Commercial Banking market or team. Manages commercial projects for the Commercial Banking Market Director.

  • Organizes and prioritizes Commercial projects and communications throughout the assigned market in collaboration with Commercial Market Managers/Directors.
  • Analyzes data and report findings and builds reports that support division initiatives, and report findings to key stakeholders.
  • Supports and communicates compliance changes to the team within a defined market.
  • Represent the division at quarterly meetings. May be asked or selected to work on Bank wide projects or initiatives.
  • Provide back-up administrative support when needed. Works closely with Loan Administration on process improvements and provides other support as needed.
  • Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
  • Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
  • May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.
  • Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Columbia corporate culture in all actions and words.
  • Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate.

About You:
Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)


Experience

  • 5+ years - of experience in Commercial loan operations (Required)


Skills

  • Advanced relationship management and operational experience, analytical and problem-solving skills and project management skills.
  • Strong ability to analyze data and present findings.
  • Advanced knowledge of products and services within project area.
  • Superior knowledge of policies, procedures, practices and documentation within project area.
  • Advanced ability to develop workflow processes and procedures to conform to efficient and responsive service and audit requirements.
  • Proven track record of success and skills in operations and processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships, including executives.
  • Requires significant experience in the project area and a demonstrated ability to manage projects within time and scope.
  • Superior knowledge of "best practices" in industry and project area.
  • Advanced proficiency with personal computers and related software packages such as Word and Excel, and other business machines.
  • Proven ability to train and to present to a small and large audience.

The pay range for this role is $75,000.00 to $130,000.00.

The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
