Job description

Our growing home care agency for Seniors is seeking a versatile, technology-savvy Recruiting & HR Specialist to help us attract great caregivers and support our team.
This is a hands-on role in a small business environment where approximately 60% of your time will focus on recruiting and 40% on HR, onboarding, compliance, and employee development.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
  • Has successful recruiting experience in healthcare, home care, healthcare staffing, or other high-volume/blue-collar workforces
  • Is an excellent writer, communicator, trainer, and presenter
  • Has strong technology skills and quickly learns new software, systems, and AI tools
  • Enjoys solving problems and figuring things out independently
  • Is flexible, adaptable, and willing to pitch in wherever needed
  • Wants to grow their skills beyond recruiting and HR into areas such as operations, payroll, finance, or client services
  • Is familiar with AHCA ASPEN regulations and requirements

What You'll Do
  • Recruit, source, screen, and hire caregivers and Home Health Aides
  • Build relationships with healthcare schools, training programs, and community organizations
  • Manage the onboarding process, orientation programs, and digital hiring paperwork
  • Supervise one remote recruiter
  • Manage our eLearning platform, retention programs, and employee recognition initiatives
  • Administer benefits and assist with vendor management
  • Support performance management, employee coaching, and annual reviews
  • Ensure compliance with FLSA, FMLA, wage and hour laws, and other employment regulations
  • Learn and apply Florida Department of Health regulations, including the industry ASPEN standards governing home care agencies
