Established staffing and recruiting company with 20+ years experience based in the New York metro area is expanding with offices in Connecticut, New York, Florida, and North Carolina. We seek to add experienced Business Development - Account Managers and technical recruiters to work and grow together with our highly experienced team. The ideal candidate has an established home office, is self-motivated and able to work remotely.

5+ years of IT staffing sales or recruiting experience

Solid prospecting and account development abilities

Success in selling and closing complex transactions in a B2B environment

Proven client service skills to create, maintain and enhance client relationships

Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

with the ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds

Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management

A day-in-the-life, will look like this . . .

- Spend a minimum of 75% of time engaged in outside sales activities such as establishing and developing new client relationships in order to diversify client base and gain market share.

- Develop account sales plans. Identify prospects and develop sales strategies to secure new business. This may include sales calls, competitive analysis, coordination of presentations and proposals, direct mail campaigns, etc.

- Source, establish, and build upon new and existing accounts, add company to vendor lists, generate solid requisitions for contract, contract to hire and permanent positions

- Work closely with the recruiting team to identify the technology footprint of serviced clients and develop an effective service-delivery model.

- Establish relationships and work with hiring managers, HR, and vendor relations.

- Work together on RFPs, SOWs and Projects

- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and build teams.

- Coordinate interviews between clients and candidates providing professional feedback.

- Close contract, contract to hire, and permanent position orders while working with recruiters and team.

- Meet regularly with leadership to review/coordinate sales efforts to ensure continued focus and success in meeting and exceeding individual sales activity and targets.

- Manage consultant retention, remarketing and renewals by maintaining contact with consultants during assignments/projects at client sites, gather feedback from consultant and client about progress/performance.

- Resolve consultant issues or escalate appropriately.

- Have a track record of success providing positive communication, proper account/client relationship management and be in constant relentless pursuit of new and repeat business.
