Job Summary:

An innovative and proactive thinker with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.  Plays a pivotal role in sourcing and placing veterinary candidates in clinics across the country, ensuring the highest quality of service and satisfaction for both clients and candidates

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Candidate Sourcing: Identify and attract qualified veterinary candidates for relief (per diem/locum) work through platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Indeed, and internal systems.
  • Cold Calling: Proactively reach out to potential candidates via cold calling to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Candidate Screening: Conduct thorough screenings to match candidates with the right opportunities.
  • Salary Negotiation: Manage salary negotiations to align candidate expectations with client offerings.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest and implement new approaches to enhance recruitment processes.
  • Market Insights: Stay updated on job market trends to inform recruitment strategies.
  • Industry Knowledge: Continuously expand your understanding of the veterinary field and terminology.
  • Advertising Programs: Assist in developing and executing advertising strategies to increase visibility and attract top talent.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with industry contacts to provide exceptional customer service, gain insights, and secure referrals and leads.
  • Additional Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned, with opportunities for travel to conferences and meet-and-greet events.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 10-15 pounds at times. 
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
