Job description

WIN Waste Innovations is looking for an Account Manager to generate revenue growth by utilizing a consultative selling approach in the retention of current WIN Waste Innovations customers. The Account Manager is responsible for achieving budgeted sales goals by developing and implementing sound retention strategies and utilizing strong negotiation efforts to preserve business.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. This includes meeting customer retention goals. Communicate to and work with the Sales Manager to resolve unique customer issues/concerns.
  • Reduce lost accounts by diffusing cancellation requests. Meet or exceed sales call activity goals for proactive account retention.
  • Increase revenue and profitability by executing sound plans on retention calls to improve the customers' service and/or profitability.
  • Demonstrate expertise in waste evaluation skills.
  • Demonstrate increased knowledge of services provided by WIN Waste Innovations, pricing and competition.
  • Understand and effectively communicate pricing and service strategies.
  • Offer and quote pricing for service on demand as encountered during customer contact. Play a key role in meeting sales and pricing objectives by proactively promoting WIN Waste Innovations services. Identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell existing customers and refer opportunities appropriately.
  • Proactively engage other WIN Waste Innovations business opportunities.
  • Generate leads for follow-up by inside and outside sales personnel.
  • Effectively use WIN Waste Innovations sales tools (i.e. Salesforce.com, TRUX, Pricing Tools, etc.).
  • Acquire in-depth industry and company knowledge in order to prepare complex proposals and make recommendations on equipment optimization and leasing options.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of appropriate local, state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.

Preferred Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree is preferred.

This is a field position. Placement into or advancement to this position is dependent upon individual performance, local market conditions and/or Business Unit requirements.
