Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Nurse Practitioner to join a busy interventional physiatry practice in Eastern South Carolina. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a nationally recognized leader in interventional spine and pain management, supporting both clinical and procedural care.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates excellent clinical judgment, communicates effectively with patients and staff, and balances independent practice with strong teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient histories, physicals, and follow-up visits
  • Assist with advanced interventional procedures (spine, nerve, and joint)
  • Coordinate pre- and post-procedure care
  • Manage patient communications and education
  • Ensure accurate documentation for compliance and billing

Qualifications:

  • Current South Carolina PA license (or eligibility)
  • Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner Certification
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurosurgery, or another procedural specialty preferred (exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered)
  • Ability to manage patients independently and support procedural workflows
  • Prior exposure to interventional joint and/or spine procedures is strongly valued
  • Strong communication skills and patient relationship management
  • Highly organized, with the ability to multitask in a high-volume practice

  • 100% outpatient practice
  • Office hours: Monday–Thursday (8 am–5 pm), Friday (8 am–12 pm)
  • Dedicated interventional spine nurses and experienced authorization team for support
  • EMR: Cerner
