Job description

FACILITIES SUPERVISOR

Temporary, Part-Time | Recreation Department | Non-Exempt

Be the person who keeps the Community and Recreation Center welcoming, safe, and ready for action.

Montgomery Township is looking for a friendly, dependable, hands-on Facility Supervisor who enjoys helping people and keeping a busy recreation facility running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

·     Welcome patrons, answer questions, give tours, and promote Township programs and events.

·     Monitor daily activities, enforce facility rules, and respond to accidents or incidents.

·     Complete facility walkthroughs and inspect sports and fitness equipment.

·     Support the front desk, programs, events, room set-ups, and urgent clean-ups as needed.

·     Build positive relationships with members and work closely with recreation and custodial staff.

What You Bring

·     A high school diploma or equivalent.

·     Excellent customer service, communication, and self-motivation.

·     The ability to perform hands-on work and work holidays, weekends, or other hours as needed.

·     A valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

·     Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification—or the ability to obtain it within one month of hire.

Compensation

Monday through Friday,   5:30 am to 5:00 pm - $15.00 per hour

Monday through Friday,   5:00 pm to 9:00 pm - $17.00 per hour

Saturday and/or Sunday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm - $17.00 per hour
