Recovery Support Coordinator - CBHC
Recovery Support Coordinators are an integral member of the CBHC multidisciplinary team, providing case and care management and system navigation supports to individuals with substance use and/or co-occurring mental health disorders. The purpose of these services is to partner with individuals in accessing treatment services, community resources, and recovery-supported peer/social supports (job, education, health, and dental care, etc.). In addition, the RSC will partner with the person and recovery team in identifying and working through system barriers to recovery.
In this vital role, the RSC will:
  • Plans and provides supportive, safe activities of varying type and functional level in response to identified needs of the individual
  • Assists the individual in becoming engaged with treatment services, 12-step/peer services, and community supports through supportive outreach meetings
  • Provides information about, and facilitate access to, community and recovery supports, including supports for families.
  • Maintains confidentiality of clinical records and privileged consumer information in conformity with state and federal law and regulations.

Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours
  • Hybrid position with opportunity for 1 to 2 remote days a week
  • One weekend shift - 9am to 5pm and One weekday evening shift until 8pm required

Pay: $22.27/hourly
  • $1 increase for CPS
  • $2 increase for CARC

Required Skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Basic computer/technology fluency (including Microsoft Office; comfortable navigating an electronic healthcare system - EHR.) required.
  • Valid driver's license, safe driving record and regular access to a reliable transportation required.
  • Coordinators must possess sufficient knowledge and understanding about treatment and recovery from substance use This includes but is not limited to: an understanding of addiction services available for Mass Health Members and resources available in the geographic area where they will work.

Required Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least 1 year of related professional experience in closely related role
  • Lived Experience with mental health or substance use challenges strongly preferred
